Trip to Cardiff Awaits in Youth Cup If U18s Beat Exeter Friday, 8th Nov 2019 21:14 Town’s U18s will play Cardiff City away in the third round of the FA Youth Cup if they beat Exeter in round two.
The game against the Grecians will be played at Portman Road on a date yet to be set before Saturday 16th November.
On Wednesday, Adem Atay’s side beat King’s Lynn Town 6-1 in the first round. The third round tie must be played prior to Saturday 14th December.
Last season the Town youngsters were beaten 4-1 by Watford at the last 16 stage of the competition.
The Blues have won the FA Youth Cup on three occasions, in 1973, 1975 and 2005.
