Feyenoord manager Arne Slot is a contender to replace Jurgen Klopp as Liverpool manager, talkSPORT understands.
The Reds are still drawing up their final shortlist, but have been impressed with the work Slot has done at Feyenoord.
He also scores highly on Liverpool's data-led approach to choosing Klopp's successor.
Slot was sought after by Tottenham before they appointed Ange Postecoglu last summer.
The Dutchman ruled himself out of the running to take over at Spurs where he ended up penning a new deal at De Kuip.
As talkSPORT reported on Monday, Sporting's Ruben Amorim is not viewed as a likely candidate to take over at Anfield when Klopp leaves this summer.

Wolves boss Gary O'Neil is also not in the running despite reports to the contrary.
Slot has earned rave reviews since linking up with Feyenoord in 2021, with his free-flowing style of play earning plenty of plaudits.
From his 146 games as manager in all competitions, he has overseen 94 victories, with his side scoring 329 goals in the process.
Under Slot's tutelage, Feyenoord won their second Eredivisie title this century - finishing seven points ahead of PSV.

And this term he has guided the club to KNVB Cup glory, while the club look set to miss out to PSV in the top-flight championship this term.
Slot almost won the inaugural Europa Conference League in 2022, but Feyenoord lost 1-0 to Jose Mourinho's Roma.
Despite Slot facing an uncertain future, Feyenoord technical director Dennis te Kloese has stated he is confident the 45-year-old will remain at the club beyond the summer.
He told ESPN: "I think it is logical that he is in such a good position.
"It is very special how he has manifested himself in recent years and has really given Feyenoord a face.
“We responded by extending his contract. In any case, we assume that he will also be our trainer next year.
“We have experienced this situation before and will take good care of our own interests.”
